Mark Allen Steele

Mark Allen Steele, 42, of Kinsman, OH, passed away suddenly Tuesday afternoon October 5, 2010 at UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh, PA. Mr. Steele was born on June 5, 1968 in Alliance, OH the son of L.H. "Pete" and Jackie (Dermotta) Steele. He was a 1986 Alumni of Brookfield High School as well as a 1991 Alumni of Youngstown State University where he graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Public Relations. Mark was currently employed by the Girl Scouts of North East Ohio as the Property Manager for Camp Sugarbush in Kinsman. Mark had always been an athlete and had played football in the Defensive Tackle position for both Brookfield High School as well as Youngstown State. He had traveled and played with the Team U.S.A. All Stars as well as the Shenango Valley Blasters. One of Mark's greatest loves and passions in life was being outdoors and enjoying wildlife. He will be sadly missed by his parents Pete and Jackie Steele of Brookfield, OH; his fiance Bonnie Belanger of Kinsman, OH; his brother-in-law Gary Bacon and niece Melissa Bacon both of Hartford, OH. He was preceded in death by his sister Shelia Bacon, and by both his paternal grandparents as well as his maternal grandparents. The family will receive friends on Friday October 8, 2010 from 4-7:00 PM at the Madasz Funeral Chapel in Brookfield, OH. Funeral services will be held on Saturday morning October 9, 2010 beginning at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Brookfield Township Cemetery.
