Martha J. Waggoner

Warren- Memorial services will be held 11AM Wednesday at the Lane Funeral Home-Mineral Ridge Chapel for Martha J. Waggoner, age 67 of Lordstown who died early Sunday morning at Hospice House. Martha was born Sept. 11, 1939 in Warren and was the daughter of the late Raymond and Mary May (Mansell) Platt. She had done house work for various people in the area and had worked at Lordstown School as a custodian. Martha enjoyed reading, sewing, doll collecting, antiques and going to Amish Country. Her best love was spending time with grandchildren and great grandchildren. Martha is survived by her husband, Marvin Waggoner whom she married Aug. 6, 1957. She leaves two daughters, Bonnie Ferguson of Niles, Connie Williams of Liberty, two sisters, Elizabeth Easterday of Southington, Margie Kemble of Canfield and a brother Roger Platt of Ravenna. Martha leaves six grandchildren, Amanda, Eric, Amy, Ann, Laura, Crystal and four great grandchildren, Tristen, Peyton, Ethan and Abigail. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter Donna Lou Waggoner. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10-11 AM Wed. prior to the service.
