Martha Louise Harris

Martha Richter Harris, 97, formerly of Warren passed away Sunday Dec. 6, 2009 at Hospice House-Greenwood, South Carolina. She was born Feb. 19, 1912 in Connellsville, PA the daughter of William Frederick and Emma Katherine (Keppler) Richter. She was employed by Packard Electric in her younger years and then was a devoted homemaker. Mrs. Harris was a long time member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Warren. Her husband of 65 years, Joseph Robert Harris Sr. whom she married Feb. 19, 1935 preceded her in death Sept. 7, 2000. She also was preceded in death by a brother Paul Richter and by a sister Ruth Pizzano. She is survived by a daughter Judy Donnalley and her husband Dale, of Ninety Six, SC, a son Joseph Robert Harris Jr. of Warren, 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Services will be 3:00 PM Saturday Dec. 12, 2009 at Roberts-Clark Chapel where friends will be received for 1 hour prior to the service. Pastor Thomas Baumgardner will officiate. Entombment will be in Pineview Cemetery Mausoleum.
