Marvin A. Naylor passed away Wednesday morning at Shepherd of the Valley Howland. Marvin was born June 29, 1920 in Youngstown a son of the late Albert and Zetta (Shearer) Naylor. A veteran of the United States Army, Marvin retired from the Austintown School System where he was a teacher for over 30 years. He also volunteered at the Butler Art Museum. He was an avid reader, enjoyed concerts in the park and going out to eat with his daughter Linda. He loved Riverside Gardens, gardening and the company of his two cats Kit and Blackie. His wife the former Betty C. Foster, whom he married March 12, 1941, passed away December 4, 2009. Marvin will be sadly missed by his children: Patricia (Robert) Fleck of Clearwater, FL, Linda Cator of Howland and Marvin (Susan) Naylor Jr. of Glendale, AZ; three grandchildren: William Stein of Treasure Island, FL, Amanda Fleck of Dunedin, Fl and Brian Hector Naylor of Guadalajara, Mexico and a great grandson Kevin Stein of Seminole, FL. Besides his parents and wife, a grandson Scott Fleck is deceased.
