Mary A Balentine

Mary A. Rufo Balentine, 87, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2015 in Denver, Colorado where she has lived for the past seven years coming from Warren, Ohio. Mary was born October 3, 1927 in Warren, Ohio, the daughter of Daniel A. Rufo and Mary Ranton and lived in Warren, Ohio for most of her life. She married Harry D. Balentine on April 12, 1944. Harry passed way on July 20, 1992; they were happily married for 49 years. Mary retired from Trumbull Lamp in 1967. She enjoyed her family and friends, traveling to Las Vegas, bingo, and cheering on her family at sporting events, especially softball and football. She was a past officer of the Leavittsburg Football Boosters Mary will be sadly missed by her daughter, Susan (Timothy Torres) Balentine; four grandchildren Lance Clifford (Brandy) Bell, Jr., Tracey Bell (Michael) Pritchard, Valerie Jewell (Benjamin) Campbell, and Ryan (Shauna) Jewell; along with seven great grandchildren, Madison, Aby, Tyler, Hunter, Payton, Karlee, and Ryker. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Harry, and her daughter Barbara and son-in-law, Lance Clifford Bell, Sr. along with her brother, Robert, and her sister, Francis (Fritz) Covert. She will be missed and loved by all who knew her. Funeral services will be held Wednesdays, August 12, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts- Clark Chapel 180 Garfield DR. N.E. Warren, OH 44484, with Father James Walker officiating the services. Family and friends may call Tuesday, August 11, 2015 from 5-8 p.m. Interment will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery in Vienna, Ohio.
