Mary A. Higgins

Youngstown—Funeral services will be 11:30 am Wednesday at the Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel, for Mary A. Higgins, 79 of Youngstown who passed away Saturday evening at her home. Mary was born April 29,1924 in Sistersville, West Virginia a daughter of Grover Cleveland and Helen (Ice) Sole and came to this area as a young adult. She was a homemaker and loving mother. Her husband of 33 years, John L. whom she married in 1958 passed away in 1991. She is survived by a daughter Helen Boulton of Youngstown, a step-father Earl Taylor of Alliance, Two brothers Paul Sole of North Dakota and Lester Sole of West Virginia, three grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Mary also leaves many nieces and nephews. A son; James William Hoover, two sisters Ellen Sole and Doris Palmer, three brothers Woodrow, Ebby, and Jack Sole and a granddaughter Mary Louise Boulton precede Mary in death. Friends and family may call from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. The family requests memorial tributes to be given to Hospice of the Valley.
