Mary Ann Rotuna

MARY ANN ROTUNA Mary Ann Rotuna of Brookfield, OH, died at 5:40 PM Sunday at Sharon Regional Hospital. She was 83. Mrs. Rotuna was born in Farrell, PA on March 31, 1923, a daughter of Steven and Anna Yazvac Zrinscak. Mary Ann has resided her whole life here in Brookfield. She was more than a homemaker, she was dedicated to her family. She worked for a few years at Westinghouse during the war. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church. She enjoyed reading, cooking, and her special T.V. shows. Her husband, Joseph Rotuna, whom she married Aug. 20, 1947, passed away Aug. 25, 2003 Survivors include: her son, Gary and his wife Carol of Brookfield; 2 granddaughters, Nicole Smith and her husband Les, and Melodi Rotuna both of Brookfield. 1 great granddaughter, Paige Smith, who was the light of her life; 1 sister, Doris Kahl of New Castle, PA. She was preceded in death by: her parents. Funeral services will be held at 9:00 AM Thursday at the Madasz Funeral Chapel, Brookfield, with Fr. Frank Zanni, Pastor of St. Vincent de Paul and St. Bernadette’s Catholic Church. Calling hours will be from 6-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be St. Mary’s Cemetery.
