Mary "Bev" Baker

AUSTINTOWN: Mary "Bev" Baker, age 80, passed away Saturday, December 6, 2014 at her home with her family by her side. Bev was born on July 19, 1934 in New Castle, Pennsylvania to parents; James A. and Mary R. (Reed) Hanna. Bev married Willis Earl Baker on August 26, 1955 and together they shared 59 years of marriage and had two wonderful children. Bev worked for Serex Inc., in the human resources department, retiring in 1987. She was a member of the Austintown Community Church and had served as an Elder for the church. Bev's passion was her family and time spent with them. She loved just sitting and talking with her grandchildren and sharing memories with them. Bev is survived by her husband, daughter; Sharon (Barry) Wessels, Aurora, Brad (Deb) Baker, Austintown, grandchildren; Meredith (Dillon) Winchell, Virginia, Brittany Baker, Austintown, Brad Baker, Jr., Austintown, Brian Wessels, Aurora, and Breanna Baker, Austintown. Bev is preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 9, 2014 from 1:00-2:00 pm at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel. Funeral service will follow the visitation at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made in Bev's memory to Angels for Animals, or the American Cancer Society.
