North Jackson- Mary Bradish, 88, a resident of the “Inn at Christine Valley” and formerly of North Jackson, passed away Sunday afternoon. A memorial mass to celebrate her life will be held at St. James Church on Friday at 11:00 AM. Mary was born Nov. 26, 1917 in Zaplana, Yugoslavia and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Jelovsek) Turk. She was a home maker, a member of St. James Church in North Jackson and the Slovenian Women’s Guild. Her husband, Edward F. Bradish whom she married June 1, 1940 died Dec. 26, 1999. She is survived by six daughters, Heather (David) Smith of Burghill, OH, Maxine (James) Knowles of Jensen Beach, FL, Kathleen (Paul)_Corliss of Canfield, Bernadette (Steve) Mazerik of Poland, Jacquelyn (Dan) Hochendoner of North Jackson, Eileen (Jim) Willett of Tyrone, GA, a sister Stephie Polutnik of Elyria, OH, 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two sisters Veronica Marsico and Josephine Robsel. Friends may call at the Lane Funeral Home-Austintown Chapel from 6-8 PM Thursday.
