Mary D. Shoemaker

Memorial services will be held 11 AM Monday at First Christian Church of Youngstown for Mary D. Shoemaker of Austintown who passed away Tuesday evening at Northside Medical Center. Mary was born November 11, 1915 in Pine Center, PA a daughter of Archie R. and Vinie B. (Jones) Fox. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Youngstown and it’s Christian Woman’s Fellowship. Mary enjoyed dancing, cooking and bingo. She is survived by a granddaughter Wendy Ligon Chapman of Lakewood, WA and a grandson Mark Ligon of Miami, FL. and three great grandchildren: Jennifer, Curry, and Cheyne. She is preceded in death by her husband Clayton Shoemaker who passed away October 31, 1961, and her daughter Patricia Girton, There are no calling hours. Arrangements are being handled by Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel.
