Mary Davidson

Mary Davidson, 80, of North Jackson, passed away at 2:10 a.m. Saturday, November 12, 2011 at Briarfield Manor in Austintown. Mrs. Davidson was born on March 22, 1931 in Youngstown the only child of John and Mary (Hribnak) Balint. Mrs. Davidson retired in 1968 from Western Reserve Lumber where she was a secretary and bookkeeper. She was a member of First Federated Church in North Jackson and enjoyed working on the farm and gardening. She also enjoyed doing tax work and was an enrolled agent. Mrs. Davidson is survived by her husband of 52 years Richard Davidson whom she married on June 13, 1959. Calling hours will take place on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 from 5 until 7 p.m. at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel, where a funeral service will take place on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. As a sign of condolence, the family suggests that memorial contributions take the form of donations in Mary's name to either the Alzheimer's Association or to Hospice of the Valley.
