Mary E. Anderson

Memorial services will be held 6pm Tuesday at the Christian Assembly in Boardman for Mary E. “Liz” Anderson, 60, who went home to be with the Lord Thursday evening at her residence. She was born December 4, 1948 in Youngstown, a daughter of Thomas and Mary (Pica) Hanes and she resided in this area all of her life. She was a 1966 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School. She worked for Delphi Packard Electric for several years as an assembly line worker before retiring in 1983. She was an active member of the Christian Assembly in Boardman and she enjoyed camping and spending time with her family, friends, and especially her grandchildren. She is survived by two sons; Keith E. Anderson of Austintown and Dain C. (Emily) Anderson of Youngstown; and three grandchildren; Jason, Dominic, and Landon. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Gary Hanes, and a sister Tina Hanes. Arrangements are being handled by the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the funeral home in Mary’s memory.
