Mary E. Simpson

Private services celebrating the life of Mary E. Simpson, 90, were held at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel. Mary passed away peacefully Monday, April 23, 2018 at her home. She was born May 19, 1927 in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of James and Theresa (Lang) Stewart. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Her husband Clarence Simpson whom she married June 14, 1957 , passed away November 16, 2005. Mary leaves two sons, Kelly Simpson of New Richmond, WI, and Chad Simpson of Austintown, two step-daughters, Penny (Rich) Huzicko of Delmont, PA and Terry (Russ) Herold of Kansas City, MO, seven grandchildren, Shannon, Brayson, Shauna (Gregg), Derek, Ashley (Cody), Alyssa (Matt), and Cameron, as well as five great-grandchildren. Sofia, Viviana, Madison, Carter, and Kinley. Besides her parents and her husband, Mary was preceded in death by one grandson Brett Simpson and one brother James Stewart. There were not calling hours.
