Mary Evelyn Dusi

Mrs. Mary E. Dusi of Brookfield, OH passed away on Saturday August 14, 2010 at 5:00PM at Community Skilled Nursing Center in Warren, OH. She was 95 years old. Mrs. Dusi was born on October 17, 1914 in Fairview Twp., PA to Foster and Mary (Mame) Alexander. She was a graduate of Fredonia High School and went on to marry Edward F. Dusi on May 19, 1956. Mary had worked for Westinghouse as a receptionist for more than thirty years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Sharon, PA as well as the Brookfield-Masury Women's Club. Mrs. Dusi will be sadly missed by her son Paul J. Brittain and his wife Mary of Upland, CA, her brother Dave Alexander of Sandy Lake, PA, her five grandchildren Jeffrey, Jason, and Ryan Brittain, Diane Bechtel Wallin, William Bechtel; six great-grandchildren Sam and Bill Wallin, Nicole, Jacob, Gavin, and Richard Brittain; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and long time family friend Mary "Mitzi" White of Sharon, PA.. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Edward, her daughter Mary Jo Brittain Bechtel, five brothers Phil, James, Frank, Homer, and Paul Alexander, by her two sisters Ruth Beatty and Dorothy Alexander, and her former husband Joseph Cooper Brittain. Calling hours will be held on Thursday evening at the Madasz Funeral Chapel in Brookfield, OH from 5-8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Friday morning at 11:00AM at the funeral home, with Rev. Richard Roberts and Rev. John McClure officiating. Entombment will follow in Crown Hill Burial Park.
