Mary Felesky

Mary Felesky of New York City, NY, formerly of Masury, OH, died on Monday (4-16-2007) in the New York Presbyterian Hospital. She was 89. Mrs. Felesky was born in Allison, PA on October 18, 1917, a daughter of Andrew and Mary (Kornick) Bodnovich. A homemaker, Mary was a member of the Masury United Methodist Church, where she active in the Mary Martha Circle of the church. In her spare time, she enjoyed baseball, especially the New York Metz. Also, Mary loved watching Dancing with the Stars. Survivors include: her daughters, Andrea Felesky, with whom she lived, Shirley Obermiyer & her husband Tom, Brookfield, her siblings, George Bodnovich, Tower Hill, PA, and Elizabeth Ford, Brimfield, OH; her grandchildren, Tom Obermiyer, Jr., and Sherry Mattocks; and her great-grandchildren, Ryan, Nicholas, Dakota, & Emily. She was preceded in death by her parents; by her husband, Andrew Felesky, whom she married February 6, 1940, he died January 24, 1997; by her brothers, Michael, Tony, Steve, & John Bodnovich; and by her sister, Helen Stolfi. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday at the Madasz Funeral Chapel, Brookfield, with Rev. Jerry Herron, Pastor. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4-8 PM. Burial will be Brookfield Township Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, the family suggests contributions can be made to the choice of the donor.
