Mary Jane White Ainsworth, 94, of Warren, passed away Monday morning, September 11, 2006 at 6:15AM at Briarfield at the Ridge, formerly Glenview Manor Nursing Home, after a long illness. Born November 5, 1911 in Corning, OH, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Irene (Rydzikowski) Leon. A Champion Twp. area resident for most of her life, Mary was a homemaker. She enjoyed traveling, baking at home, wild birds and loved working with her flowers. She was a member of Champion Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death in 1950 by her first husband, Forrest Edward White whom she married in 1939. She was also preceded in death in 1977 by her second husband, Stanley E. Ainsworth Sr., whom she married November 10, 1956. Mary is survived by two children and two step children, a son, Mr. Dennis E. (Freda) White of Champion and daughter, Mrs. E. Lurline (Richard) Johnson of Haveloc, NC, step-son Stanley E. Ainsworth Jr. of Niles and step-daughter Mrs. Mildred Tibbs of Warren, three grandchildren, Derrick (Robin) White, Kimberly (Marco) Abruzzi, and Jennifer (Ken) Syx, and four great grandchildren, Andrew, Jason, Emily and Megan. She was preceded in death by a step-son Donald Cunningham, step-grandson Donald Lee Cunningham, three brothers, Tony, Frank, and William Leon and by a sister, Sophie Seifer. The Rev. Paul Gaug will conduct a funeral service on Wednesday, September 13, 2006 at 11 AM at the chapel in Champion Twp. Cemetery where burial will follow.
