Mary Jewell Click

Mary Jewell Click, 89, of Vienna Twp. went home to be with the Lord at 11:50 AM Tuesday May 11, 2010 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. She was born June 28, 1920 in Olive Hill, KY to the late Taylor and Leatha (Bledsoe) Easterling. A Trumbull County resident since 1952 coming from West Virginia, Mary was formerly employed by St. Joseph's Hospital and by the Dana St. Cafeteria for a total of 12 years retiring in 1978. Mary enjoyed crocheting and was an accomplished musician playing the accordion, the piano, and the organ. Her husband served many churches as an interim Pastor and she always was his singing partner and accompanist. A loving and devoted homemaker, the most important thing in her life was her family. She was a member of the Leavittsburg Church of God and the Shiloh Full Gospel Church in Liberty where she served as a pianist. Her beloved husband of 60 years, Rev. William Kenneth Click whom she married in 1936 preceded her in death in May of 1996. She also was preceded in death by 3 sons, Kenneth Bradford Click, Roy Gene Click, Phillip G. Click, 2 grandsons Brad Dwayne Click, Kevin Click, a daughter-in-law Janice Click, a nephew that she raised Bob Click, 5 brothers, 1 step-brother and 3 step-sisters. She will be sadly missed by her children Dallas Click of Southington Twp., James David (Francine) Click of Leavittsburg, Taylor A. (Violet) Click of West Farmington, Jacob David (Jackie) Click of Texas, Helen June (John) Storey of Arizona, and Carolyn (Rev. Nicholas) Furrie Jr. of Vienna with whom she made her home. She also leaves a sister Goldie May Muterthies of Conrad, Iowa, a nephew that she raised Jack Click of Las Vegas, daughter-in-law Carol Click of Braceville, 32 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren. Her son-in-law the Rev. Nicholas Furrie will conduct a funeral service 11:00 AM Saturday May 15, 2010 at the Shiloh Full Gospel Church 1310 Shannon Rd. in Liberty Twp. Friends will be received from 5-8 PM Friday at Roberts-Clark Chapel and for 1 hour prior to the service Saturday at the church. Interment will be in Kerr Cemetery in Weathersfield Twp. The family suggests material contributions be made to the building fund at the Shiloh Full Gospel Church.
