Mary Lou Iser, 70 of Leavittsburg, died Wednesday afternoon, April 10, 2019, at her daughter's home in Champion. She was born May 8, 1948 in Buckhannon, West Virginia the daughter of the late French David and Frances June Heatherly Humphrey. She had been a Leavittsburg resident for 46 years. Mary was a 1966 graduate of Leavittsburg High School. She was retired from the NAUS Club in Warren, where she worked for several years. She was also a member of the Women of the Moose Lodge No. 186, where she served as secretary and was a member of the Sons of Italy. Mary loved spending time with her family and grandchildren and enjoyed fishing, traveling, crocheting and Bingo. Mary is survived by five daughters, Kim (Michael) Rabel of Champion, Lisa (Rusty) Heatherly of Leavittsburg, Teresa (Chet) Dull of Warren, Mary "Moo" (Jeff) Borden with whom she was living in Champion and Michell (Ed) Iser-Aeppli of Dansville, Ohio; four sons, Richard Iser of Warren, David (Melinda) Iser of Braceville, Billy Iser and Ryan Iser both of Leavittsburg; 32 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren; five sisters, Doris (Bill) Pogue of Windham, Barb (Ken) Runyon of Normantown, WVa., Frances Aldridge of Oregon, Shirley (Danny) Pence of Leavittsburg and Londia (Jimmy) Stewart of Bristolville and three brothers, Carl (Billie) Humphrey of Howland, Roger (Cindy) Humphrey and Donny (Dottie) Humphrey both of Leavittsburg. Her husband of over 32 years, Barry Richard Iser, whom she married December 10, 1967 preceded her in death Feb. 27, 2000. Two sisters, Beppie Humphrey and Pauline Newman and one brother, David Humphrey also have preceded in death. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, April 14, 2019, at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts-Clark Chapel in Warren, where the funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday with Pastor David Burman officiating.
