Mary Louise Young, 86 of Warren, passed away on Sunday afternoon, November 25, 2012, at her home surrounded by her loving family, after a short illness. She was born April 18, 1926 in Warren, the daughter of the late Lucio and Philomena Delmutti Rufo. She was a lifetime Warren area resident. Mary Louise was a 1944 graduate of Harding High School, where she was a majorette. She was a homemaker for most of her married life, but worked for several years at Jack Young's Market on Perkinswood Ave. S.E. in Warren. Mary Louise was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking and loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. Left to cherish her memory include her husband, Robert L. Young, Sr., whom she married November 5, 1951; two daughters, Jeanne Killen of Warren and Jackie (Dan) Weston of Howland; one son, Bob L. (Pam) Young Jr. of Mecca Twp.; four grandchildren, Elliot and Taylor Killen, Cole Weston and Elizabeth Young and one brother, Raymond Rufo of Pennsylvania. Survivors also include many nieces and nephews; several great nieces and great nephews and great great nieces and great great nephews. Four brothers, Sandy, Albert, Gilbert and Leonard Rufo and two sisters, Angie Gardner and Mary Young have all preceded her in death. The family thanks Candace Swindler, who provided compassionate and loving care in the last few months of Mary Louise's life. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Church in Warren, with Rev. Bernard Schmalzried celebrating the mass. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, November 27, 2012, at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts-Clark Chapel in Warren.
