Mary Mac Farland Moore

Services will be 11 am Monday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Mary MacFarland Moore, 82, of McDonald who passed away Thursday morning at her home. Mary was born May 18, 1923 in Clinton Indiana, the daughter of Thomas and Helen Moore. She was a graduate of Austintown Fitch High School class of 1941, and had worked for 33 years as an IBM clerk for U.S. Steel McDonald works retiring in 1981. Mary was a member of McDonald United Methodist Church and a former member of the Eastern Star. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting and growing flowers. Mary was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She leaves her two sons; Charles John Vadino of North Lima, and Thomas Moore with whom she made her home, one sister; Catherine Saltsman of Austintown, six grandchildren; Todd and Karlene Vadino, Matthew, Thomas, and twins Megan and Taylor Moore, and four great grandchildren Blaine, Helena, and twins Garrett and Miranda Vadino. Mary was preceded in death by a grandson Scott Thomas Moore and a brother John Moore. Family and friends may call from 2 to 5 pm Sunday and again from 10 to 11 am Monday at the funeral home.
