Mary Margaret Smiley

HOWLAND TOWNSHIP-Mary Margaret Smiley, 40, of Orchard Ave SE, passed away at 7:35AM Monday, May 7, 2007 in her home after an extended illness. Mary was born October 1, 1966 in Warren the daughter of William and Margaret “Peg” (Reffner) Smiley and lived in the area all of her life. Mary was a 1984 graduate of Howland High School and worked at AVI food systems in the housekeeping department. Mary was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Warren. Mary is survived by her parents of Warren, a sister Judy (Charles) Jackson of Mossuri; a niece Ashley Jackson and a nephew Anthony Jackson. Caring and dignified arrangements are entrusted to the Lane Funeral Homes Roberts Clark Chapel, 180 Garfield Drive NE Warren, where calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2007 from 6 until 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10AM Friday, May 11, 2007 in St. James Catholic Church, with the Rev. Fr. Charles W. Crumbley officiating, preceded by closing prayers to be stated at 9:30AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Pineview Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in Mary’s name to the Restoration Fund of St. James Catholic Church 2532 Burton St. SE Warren, Ohio 44484.
