Mary P. Pasha

Mary P. Pasha, 92 of Cortland, formerly of Austintown passed away Friday afternoon at Briarfield of Cortland. Mary was born November 17, 1911 in Youngstown a daughter of the late Matthew (Frank) and Anna Triplet Mesarich. She had been a bus driver for 12 years retiring in 1980 from the Austintown School System, and was a volunteer for Goodwill for 15 years where she won the Volunteer of the Year Award. Mary enjoyed cooking and was an excellent baker. She is survived by two children: Nancy (Allan) Ferguson of Austintown and Robert (Ginny) Pasha of Kinsman; six grandchildren: Meghan Pasha, Allan (Tammy) Ferguson Jr., Charles (Jill) Ferguson, John (Lisa) Ferguson, Lisa (Stephen) Bourdon, and Grant (Nancy) Wagoner; and eight great grandchildren. Mary is preceded in death by her husband Louis J. Pasha whom she married May 28, 1934 and who passed away in 1949; one sister: Kathryn Bradick, one brother Steve Mesarich, and a step brother Rudy Cikulin. In lieu of flowers material contributions may be made to Goodwill in Mary’s name. Friends may call from 5-8 PM Monday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel where funeral services will be held at 10 AM Tuesday.
