Mary R Patitucci

Mary (Maria) R. Patitucci, of Austintown, passed away on her 77th birthday, Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. in her home. Mary was born on November 24, 1933 in Cleveland, Ohio the daughter of the late Anthony and Maria (Baudio) Cocita and was a graduate of Collinwood High School. A retired hairdresser, Mary was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Austintown and attended Mass daily. While living in Tamrac, Florida, Mary was an active member of St. Malcholy Catholic Church, where she served as an Eucharistic Minister. She enjoyed crocheting and socializing with her friends here in Ohio and Florida. Most of all, Mary enjoyed the time she spent with her family and adored her four granddaughters. Mary was married on June 15, 1957 to Ernest Patitucci and they were married for 50 years until his passing on October 18, 2007. Mary will be sadly missed by her two children James A. (Kathy) Patitucci of Lordstown and Maria E. (Anthony) Ignazio of Austintown; a brother Joseph Cocita and a sister Rose Cocita both of Austintown and four granddaughters Lauren and Lindsay Ignazio, Marina Patitucci and Stephanie (Jeff) Fellenger. Besides her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by two brothers Frank and Nunzio Cocita. Calling hours for Mary will take place on Monday, November 29, 2010 from 5 until 7 p.m. in the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel 5797 Mahoning Ave, Austintown Ohio, 44515. A Mass of Christian Burial will celebrated with Fr. Gregory Fedor officiating in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Austintown on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at 10:00 a.m., preceded by a private prayer service to be recited in the funeral home prior in leaving for the church. Everyone is asked to please meet at the church the morning of the funeral.
