Youngstown- Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday at the Lane Funeral Home-Austintown Chapel for Mary Virginia Mickey, age 79 of Youngstown who died early Tuesday morning in Boardman Community Center. Mary was born Aug. 10, 1926 in Clifton Mills, W. Vir. and was the daughter of the late Hosea and Hazel (Forman) Liston. She had previously worked for Truscon Steel in the canteen and had also worked for Plakie Toys and F.A. Pilgrim Extrusion in the shipping dept. Mary was a member of Simon Rd. Church of God, the W.C.G. of the church and had formerly belonged to bowling leagues and was an avid sewer and loved crafts. Mary leaves her husband Donald A. Mickey whom she married Nov. 2, 1963. She also leaves two sons Richard Thomas Mohney of Leetonia, David Wayne (Nancy) Mohney of Youngstown, two sisters Elsie Everly of Bruceton Mills, W. Vir., Lida Carroll of Austintown, five brothers Ora Ray Liston of Mill Run, Pa, Errol Liston of Bruceton Mills, W. Vir., Bert Liston of North Jackson, Edward Liston of New Middletown, OH, Hosea Liston of Boardman. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 PM Friday and one hour prior to services on Saturday. The family would like to thank their pastor Rev. Eddy Howard and the doctors, Dr. Robert G. Spratt, Dr. Santuccio Ricciardi, Dr. Loretta Jacob and all the staff and help for the good care they gave Mary. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Simon Rd. Church of God.
