AUSTINTOWN----Funeral services will be held 10 AM Thursday at St. James Catholic Church, North Jackson for Matilda M. Gbur, 75, of Austintown, who passed away Sunday morning in the Cleveland Clinic. Tillie, as she was known, was born Sept. 12, 1927 in Youngstown, the daughter of Adolph and Helen Klein Filicky and was a lifelong area resident. She had been a bookkeeper for Jackson Federal Credit Union retiring after 15 years of service. She was a member of the church, the Keenagers, was an avid bowler with the Austintown School Belles League and a member of the American Cancer Soc. for 32 years. Her husband, Edward E. Gbur Sr, whom she married in 1946 passed away in 1996. Tillie is survived by two sons, Edward E. Gbur Jr. of Springdale, AR and Robert J. Gbur of Austintown, and five grandchildren, Doug, Mike, Jeff, Jennifer, and Randi Gbur. She was preceded in death by her parents and all of her brothers and sisters. Friends may call from 5 to 9 PM Wednesday at the Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel
