Merle ''Mike'' Kimmel

Services will be held 10 AM Monday at Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Merle “Mike” Kimmel, 91 of 9060 Kirk Rd who passed away at North Side Hospital Thursday morning. He was born January 26, 1911 in North Jackson a son of Perry and Goldie (Lawrence) Kimmel. He was a machine operator for US Steel for 36 years retiring in 1971. He also owned and operated a farm in North Jackson. He is survived by 3 sisters Ruth Purnell and Mary Penny both of Austintown, and Virginia DeWalk of Hubbard, 2 brothers Perry Kimmel of Austintown, and Earl Kimmel of North Jackson. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister Marion Moser, and a brother Roy Kimmel. Friends and family may call from 5-7 PM Sunday May 19, 2002 at Lane Funeral Home Austintown.
