Michael E Conway

Michael E. Conway, age 72 of Howland Township, died Sunday morning, August 14, 2011, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was born October 9, 1938 in Warren the son of the late Edward and Helen Cullen Conway. Michael retired in 1999 from IBEW Local No. 573, where he worked for many years as an electrician. He was a member of St. Roberts Church in Cortland and had served for several years as an ordained deacon in the Catholic church. He had a Masters degree in Theology. Michael is survived by his wife, Elizabeth "Bette" Fugini Conway; three sons from a previous marriage, Mace (Tina) Conway of Cumberland, Rhode Island, Ted (Barb) Conway of McDonald and Chris (Lorrie) Conway of Chesapeake, Va.; seven grandchildren, Erica, Kyle, Rachael, Michael, Tiffany, Alex and Katherine and one sister, Ann Conway of Naples, Fla. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Mary Conway. A private funeral service will be held at Roberts-Clark Funeral Chapel in Warren with Rev. Carl Kish officiating.
