Michael Gula

Michael Gula of Youngstown, OH, died at 9:05 PM Saturday at Austinwood Nursing Home. He was 88. Mr. Gula was born in Youngstown, OH on July 14, 1919, a son of Paul Sr. and Dorothy Vokanich Gula. Michael worked as a welder, and retired from Truscon Steel. He was a 33 degree Mason at the Western Star Lodge No# 21. Survivors include: his wife Katherine (Fedina) Gula, whom he married Jan. 31, 1948; 3 brothers, Frank and his wife Jenny Gula, Nick and his wife Mary Gula both of Youngstown, OH and Paul and his wife Dolores Gula of Boardman, OH. He was preceded in death by: his parents; 2 sisters, Anna Gula and Helen Petaccio; 3 brothers, Charles, John, and Steve Gula. There are no services. Lane Funeral Home – Austintown Chapel handled the arrangements.
