Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM Saturday at Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel for Michael J. Stosic who passed away on Wednesday, March 31, at Worthington at Adams. Michael was born August 19, 1914, in Campbell a son of the late John and Catherine Stosic. He was a longtime resident of Hollywood, FL. In the early 1980’s, he built a home in Franklin, NC and split his time between the two residences. He was a Superintendant of the Maintenance Department for the State of Florida, Sunland Training Center for developmentally disabled persons, retiring in 1987. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Franklin, NC, where he spent countless hours volunteering. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a World War II United States Army Veteran, and a member of the 317th Troop Carrier Group. In the 50’s, he was a member of the Campbell Auxiliary Police Civilian Defense Workers. Michael is survived by his loving wife, Rose M. Stosic, whom he married December 29, 1945; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Michele Stosic; and six siblings: George Stosich, Carolyn Lazar, Matthew Stosic, Barbara Louko, Mitch Nenedich and Ann Toth.
