Mildred Helen Huffman

There will be private services at a later date for Mildred Helen Huffman, 76 of Shepherd of the Valley, Poland formerly of Canfield who died Wednesday evening at Hospice House. Mildred was born October 28, 1935 in Bellevue, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Robert and Mildred Daufen Anderson. She graduated from Bellevue High School where she was a majorette and moved to Canfield in 60's. Mildred had owned and operated Youngstown Door Check for 12 years, until she retired. She was a member of Canfield Garden Club. Her husband, Donald E. Huffman whom she married December 23, 1954 died in 1996. She leaves her daughter, Lisa Culp of Charlotte, North Carolina, a son, Donald Scott Huffman of Poland ; 7 grandchildren, Stephanie Huffman, Rebecca Huffman, Marcus Huffman, Madison Breazeale, Chad Huffman, Jordan Breazeale and Zachary Breazeale; 2 brothers, Robert Anderson of Maryland, David Anderson of California; 4 sisters, Cordela Dunbar of Pittsburgh, Ruth Donovan of Seattle, Washington, Sandy Shelton and Sally Ritter both of California and her friend, Armando Perchiacca. Besides her parents and her husband, Mildred was preceded in death by 2 sons, Mark Alan Huffman, Steven Robert Huffman and a sister, Carol Ritter. There are no calling hours.
