Mildred L Mauerman

AUSTINTOWN-Mildred L. Mauerman, 88, of Briarfield at Ashley Circle, entered into eternal rest on Friday, November 2, 2007, surrounded by family and friends at the Hospice House in Poland. Mildred was born February 1, 1919 in Youngstown, Ohio the daughter of the late David and Mary (Hawkins) Price and was a member of Brownlee Woods United Presbyterian Church. Mildred was a graduate of Youngstown Chaney High School and worked for Sears & Roebucks and at the Palace and State Theaters. Also a longtime homemaker, loving wife and mother, she enjoyed being a member of the Aut Mori Grotto, Women’s Cauldren and was a past president and member of the Ruth Shrine No 64 of the White Shrine of Jerusalem. She married Paul R. Mauerman July 19, 1938 and he preceded her in death on December 29, 1995. Mildred will be sadly missed and always remembered by family and friends and all whose life she touched. Surviving are her children Gary D. of Austintown, Debbie Lederman of Powhatan, VA, and RuthAnn Minno of Struthers; Daughter-in-laws Dianne Mauerman, and Shirley Mauerman; close and caring friend Linda Mauerman; grandchildren Steven, Michael, Deana, Amy, Jeffery, Gary, and James; along with six great grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, Mildred was preceded in death by a son Gordon Mauerman, grandson Gordon “Gordo” Mauerman Jr.; sister Anna Kuba; brother Gordon Price; and a niece Joann Fogg. The will be no services or calling hours. The family suggests that material contributions take the form of donations to the Hospice House 9803 Sharrott Road, Poland, OH 44514. Flowers may be sent to Briarfield at Ashley Circle and the Family asks that Mildred be remembered in your prayers. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel.
