Mildred M Harrah

Mildred M. Harrah, 92, formerly of Warren, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Affinity Hospital in Massillon, Ohio. She was born on March 24, 1924 in Pittsburgh, PA, daughter of the late Everett Edward and Matilda (Keil) Staats. Millie married her late husband, Rev. Robert L. Harrah on March 21, 1947 and they spent 62 wonderful years of marriage together before his passing on November 14, 2009. Millie was the last charter member at Warren Baptist Temple where her husband was pastor for 47 years. She served the congregation during those years and even after his retirement by helping with counseling, bookkeeping, playing the organ, singing and much more. Millie loved to spend time with her family and grandchildren. She was always happiest when her family was home and together. Millie is survived by her children, Janet (David) Grafton, Bob (Leslie) Harrah, and Mickey Love; grandchildren, Katie (Drew) Ault, Mandy (Jose`) Bonilla, Erin Grafton, Brian Grafton, Kerri Grafton and Nicholas (Marie) Love; three brothers, Paul Staats, Melvin Staats, and Richard (Laura) Staats; and one sister, Evelyn Gregg. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and two brothers, Eddie Wayne Staats and Bill Staats. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, April 3, 2016 at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts Clark Chapel, 180 Garfield Drive NE, Warren, OH from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 4, 2016 at the Warren Baptist Temple, 2093 Ewalt Avenue NE, Warren, OH, at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. James Dittmar officiating. Burial will follow at Pineview Memorial Park in Warren.
