MINNIE L. HANER, 85 BOARDMAN-There will be Services at 11 a.m. Monday at Bethel Lutheran Church for Minnie L. Haner, 85, who died Wednesday afternoon at Beeghly Oaks. Mrs. Haner was born July 20, 1928 in Youngstown, a daughter of Michael and Katharina Raiger Klein. Minnie was a home-maker. She had previously been employed by the Youngstown Sheet & Tube Co. in the accounting dept. for ten years. Minnie was a 1947 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School. She was a member of the former Honterus Lutheran Church and a current member of Bethel Lutheran Church. Minnie was a member of the Youngstown Saxon Club, Branch No. 22, where she was named Saxon Lady of the Year in 1990. She was also a member of the Saxon Retiree's. Minnie loved to knit and crochet and also enjoyed traveling. Minnie's husband of 41 years, Richard G. Haner, whom she married April 23, 1949, died July 17, 1990. Minnie is survived by her brother, Robert Klein of Austintown; many nieces and nephews, many gr. nieces and nephews and many gr. gr. nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, Minnie was preceded in death by her son, David R. Haner; her brothers, John, August, Michael and George Klein and her sisters, Katherine Turney and Helen Klein. Friends may call from 10-11 a.m. on Monday, prior to the Service at the church. The family would like to thank the Doctors and Staff of Beeghly Oaks and also the Staff of Crossroads Hospice of Northeastern Ohio for their compassionate care and concern for Minnie.
