Muriel Grace Osment

Muriel Grace Osment, age 91, passed away Friday afternoon at her residence. She was born December 30, 1912 in Sakatchewan, Canada a daughter of William Tunnah. She was a member of the Christ Church Presbyterian Church in Youngstown, Muriel participated in the Bible Study Circle and many women’s organizations at the church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, doing jigsaw and crossword puzzles, was an avid reader and loved gardening. She is survived by two children: Maryanna (Thomas) Koker of Victorville, CA, and Larry (Darlene) Osment of Youngstown; six grandchildren: Thomas J. Koker of Montbello, CA, Sharon Johnson of Victorville, CA, Denise Babin of Big Bear, CA, David Koker of Garden Grove, CA, Craig Osment of Yorba Linda, CA, and Christopher Osment of Nevada; thirteen great grandchildren Kyle, Kristiana, Brandon, Donovan, Ryan, Brittany, Tyler, Dylan, Victoria, Kristin, Emily, Anne, and Madison; and three great great grandchildren; Bodee, Coby, Trevor. Muriel is preceded in death by: her husband Fred Osment, who passed away May 1, 1978, her parents, five sisters, and one son Fred Osment Jr. Friends may call from 5-7 PM Tuesday and 10-11 AM Wednesday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel where a funeral service will be held at 11 AM Wednesday.
