Muriel M. Pugh, 70, of Warren, died of natural causes on Monday, January 30, 2006 at her home. Born February 26, 1935 in Youngstown, Muriel was the daughter of the late Edward Ralph and Avella Hill Schwartz. A graduate of Springfield Local High School, Muriel worked for the Babbitt General Store in Page, AZ for nearly 20 years. She returned to the Warren area in 2001 after living in Page, AZ and Duvall, WA for several years. Muriel loved the West Coast. She enjoyed hiking and mining and loved the outdoors. She was a member of the Woodworth Church of the Brethren. Muriel is survived by five children, Dennis and Michael Pugh both of Page, AZ, Roni(Mel) Brinsey of Burghill, OH, Wanda(John) Kaluza of Youngstown, OH and Brian(Paula) Pugh of Duvall, WA, four sisters, Retta Beight of Pikeville, TN, Marcia(Michael) D’Amico of Ft. Collins, CO, Patricia(Robert) Gillen of Fairburn, GA, and Denise(Robert) Collingwood of Struthers, OH, one brother, Evan(Patricia)Schwartz of New Springfield, OH, 10 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson, and brother-in-law, Nevin Beight. Calling hours will be held Friday, February 10, 2006, from 11AM to 1PM at the Roberts-Clark Chapel. There will be no funeral services and cremation has taken place. Family has requested that no flowers be sent.
