Nadine N Gay

CANFIELD-Services will begin at 9:30 AM in the Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel and continue at 10AM in Old North Church on Saturday, December 27, 2008 for Nora "Nadine" Gay, 88, formerly of Sang Run, MD, who passed away at 5:45AM Monday, December 22, 2008 in Maplecrest Nursing Home in Struthers. Nadine was born April 18, 1920 in Leisenring, PA the daughter of the late William R. and Nora Mrytle (Rodeheaver) Savage. Nadine was a homemaker and enjoyed needle point embroidery, traveling, cooking and listening to and singing old gospel hymns. Nadine was a member of Old North Church in Canfield and was a former member of Oak Grove Church in Sang Run, MD. Nadine was married on November 29, 1939 to Robert F. Gay and he preceded her in death on March 3, 1994. Nadine is survived by eight children Shirley Mogg of Austintown, Barbara Veneroso of Youngstown, Janet (Lee) Partridge, Susan (John) Savage, Diana (Tom) Timlin, Robert (MaryAnn) Gay all of Phoenix, Arizonia, Timothy (Rosalind) Gay of Canfield and Thomas (Christina) Gay of Boardman; two sisters Naomi Savage of Frostburg, MD and Juanita (Jerry) Onesi of Uniontown, PA; twenty three grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Family will receive friends on Friday, December 26, 2008 from 4 until 8 PM in the funeral home.
