Nancy Jean Pridham

There will be a memorial service at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday August 7th in the chapel at The Inn at University Village Assisted Living, 2650 Ohio State Drive S.E., Massillon 44646 for Nancy Jean Pridham, 88, of Massillon who died Monday, July 23rd at The Inn at University Village Assisted Living. Nancy was born August 18, 1929 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Leonard and Elizabeth (Toedt) Bertelsen. She received her Bachelor's Degree from Ohio University and had been a Home Economics teacher prior to raising her family. Nancy was an avid seamstress, a self-taught knitter and a horse woman. She loved to travel and had traveled to 25 different countries. She was a member of the Women's Bar Auxilliary and the Easter Seal Society. Nancy leaves her daughter, Tracy (Craig) Howell of Hartville and her son, Brian (Ann) Pridham of Niceville, Florida and one granddaughter, Danielle Howell. Besides her parents and her former husband, Herbert Pridham who died July 16th, Nancy was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Bertelsen and William Bertelsen. In lieu of flowers, the family requests material tributes be made to Crossroads Hospice in Nancy's memory. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lane Family Funeral Homes, Canfield Chapel.
