Nancy Lee (Hasson) Webb passed away peacefully on April 18, 2016 after a courageous battle with multiple myeloma. Nancy was born December 27, 1931 in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Merle and Vivian Kimes Hasson. She was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and attended Youngstown College Dana School of Music. Nancy was a member of Canfield United Methodist Church, where she served on many committees along with being a past president of the United Methodist Women's Society and the youth choir director. She was a member of the Canfield Junior Women's League where she had served as president and chairman of the Canfield 4th of July celebration. The League also voted her Outstanding Member. She was also a member of the Canfield Garden Club and had played bridge with the same eight women for over 50 years. Nancy enjoyed collecting antiques, decorating, cooking and entertaining friends and family. Her husband, William "Billy" Webb whom she married November 1, 1949, died December 21, 1994. She is survived by a son, Douglas of Morristown, New Jersey; a daughter, Alison (Donnie) Loree of Canfield; two grandchildren, Spencer Saylor of Columbus and Cassandra Saylor of Canfield. Besides her parents and her husband, Nancy was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela and a son, Wayne. A memorial service is planned for 11:00 a.m. April 30th at Canfield United Methodist Church, 27 S. Broad Street, Canfield. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101-9929. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lane Family Funeral Homes, Canfield Chapel.
