Nancy M. Hart

There will be Services at 11 a.m. Tuesday at New Life Lutheran Church for Nancy M. Hart, 81, who passed away Wednesday evening at Shepherd of the Valley in Warren. Nancy was born Dec. 16, 1935 in Youngstown, the daughter of Simon G. and Mabel A. Anderson Olson. She was employed by the Youngstown Hospital Assoc. Northside Unit with the Medical Records Dept. for 37 years. Nancy was a 1953 graduate of The Rayen School. She was a charter member of the New Life Lutheran Church and a member of its Ladies Card Club. Nancy was a member of the Ladies Group of The Rayen School that has met monthly since the 7th grade. She was also a member of the former Vasa Club and its Eveready Club. She was a Girl Scout leader for many years with the Lake to River Girl Scout Council. Nancy enjoyed square dancing and was a member of the Merry Makers Square Dancers at the Canfield Grange. She also received much pleasure in playing the piano. Nancys husband of 45 years, Robert H. Hart, whom she married July 30, 1955, died Sept. 1, 2000. She is survived by her daughters, Kerstin M. (Paul) Lewis and Laurie A. (Gary) Bateman, both of Hubbard; her son, Reverend Erik R. (Julie) Hart of Ridgway, PA; her grandchildren, Matthew (Carrie) Lewis, Lisa (Chris Kirby) Lewis, Amanda Bateman, Erik (Ashley) Bateman, Gretchen Bateman, Rachel Hart and Jamie Hart and her gr. grandchildren, Ashley, Bryce, Levi, Wyatt and Brooklyn. Besides her parents and husband, Nancy was preceded in death by her brother, Howard Olson. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. on Monday at the Lane Family Funeral Homes-Anstrom Chapel, 8387 Tod Ave. in Boardman and from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday prior to the Service at the church.
