Nellie (Laprocina) Rosasco Klush

Nellie (Laprocina) Rosasco Klush, 87, of Champion went home to be with God Thursday evening, January 22, 2009 at Gillette Nursing Home where she had been a resident for the past year. Born October 30, 1922 at home in Warren, Nellie was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Anna Marie (Rinaldi) Laprocina who immigrated to America from Foggia, Italy. A lifetime area resident, Nellie was of the Catholic faith and was a health care worker for several years for various offices, hospital, and nursing facilities in the area. She was also a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, crocheting, reading, going on daily walks and playing bingo. Most of all she enjoyed having tea with close friends and family. Preceded in death by her first husband, Anthony Rosasco and also by her second husband John H. Klush, she will be dearly missed by her five children, Anthony Rosasco Jr. and Henry Rockwell both of Niles, Carol (Ed) Reynolds Esposito of Girard, Anna Marie Rosasco of Champion, and Kimberly (Michael) Gacura of Warren, six grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, a sister Susan (Robert) Kidwell of Sharon, PA, and a brother Peter (Barbara) Laprocina of Warren. She was preceded in death by four brothers Gabriel, Roland, Anthony, and Frank Laprocina and three sisters, Clara Wolforth, Helen Joseph, and Marjorie Culver. Calling hours will be Monday, January 26, 2009 from 10am to 12 Noon at the Roberts-Clark Funeral Chapel where the Rev. Robert Grow will conduct a funeral service at 12 Noon.
