Neva L. Johnson

Austintown- Memorial services will be held at 11 am Monday at the Mahoning United Methodist Church for Neva Johnson who died early Thursday morning in St. Elizabeth Hospital. Neva was born November 18, 1930 in Youngstown the daughter of James and Bessie Duncan. Neva graduated from Chaney High School then continued her education at Youngstown State University earning her Master Degree in Education. She taught 6th grade for 29 years for the Newton Falls Schools retiring in the mid 1990’s. She also prepared taxes for many years. Neva was a member of Mahoning United Methodist Church and loved to crochet. She will be missed by her children; JoAnn (George) Buzulencia of North Jackson, William (Kim) Johnson of Boardman, grandchildren; Greg and Jeff Buzulencia and sister Jean Hamilton of Youngstown. She was preceded in death by her son Robert Bunosky and brothers Monte and Everett Duncan. Family and friends may call at the church from 10 to 11 am prior to services. The family requests that memorial contributions take the form of donations to the church.
