Nick Krull Jr. passed away early Friday Morning, April 8, 2011, at 12:05AM at O’Brien Nursing Home in Masury. He was eighty-years old. He was born on August 22, 1930 in Masury, OH a son of Nick and Helen (Juckroix) Krull Sr.. Nick attended Brookfield Local Schools and went on to serve his country in the United States Navy following the Second World War. Following his time in the Navy, Nick worked for General American in Masury, OH for more than thirty years as a welder before his retirement in 1988. Mr. Krull was a member of St. John’s Orthodox Church in Sharon, PA. During his leisure time enjoyed reading, woodworking, and loved spending time studying the Ukranian language and his cultural heritage. He is survived by his three children son Nick J. Krull of Boulder, CO, and two daughters Patricia A. Mohney and her husband Dan of Brookfield, OH and Tamara J. Krull Longmont, CO; and by five grandchildren Alexis Brink and her husband Adam of Kent, OH, Anita Mohney of Brookfield, OH, Eric Krull of Boulder, CO, Alex Krull of Texas, and David Ulrich of Longmont, CO. He was preceded in death by his wife of more than forty-two years the former Mary Louise Velican on March 28, 2000, his parents, his sister Helen Krull, and two brothers Bill and George Mogan. Friends may call on Monday afternoon April 11, 2011 from 2-4:00 PM at the Madasz Funeral Chapel 6923 Warren-Sharon Road in Brookfield, OH 44403. A funeral service will follow beginning at 4:00PM at the funeral home the with the Rev. Michael Polanichka of St. John’s Orthodox Church officiating. Burial will be at Brookfield Township Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Children’s Miracle Network.
