A celebration of life will be held at 11 AM Saturday at the Lane Family Funeral Home, Anstrom Chapel for Nick Opalick Jr., 64, of Canfield Township, who passed away Sunday November 20 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center Main Campus. Nick was born April 5, 1952 in Youngstown the son of Nickolas Sr. and Helen (Korak) O'Palick. He was a graduate of Austintown Fitch High School class of 1969 and was the Owner / Operator of K-Max Auto Sales in Austintown until his retirement. Nick enjoyed biking and spending time with his family. Most of all he loved to be with his three grandchildren. Nick leaves his wife Elizabeth Bernard, whom he married May 31, 2014, one son Todd (Michele) Opalick of Canfield, three grandchildren, Mia, Hunter, and Brooke, two stepchildren, Lucas Franken of New York, NY, and Abigail Franken of Charleston, SC, one sister, Charlene (Jim) Matune of Austintown. He also leaves many nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 9:30 to 11 AM Saturday at the Lane Family Funeral Homes Anstrom Chapel, 8387 Tod Avenue, Boardman, OH 44512. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to Make A Wish Foundation in Nick's name.
