Nina L Davis

Nina (Messina) Davis, 86, a lifelong resident of Brookfield, passed away peacefully surrounded by friends and family from complications after a brief illness on Thursday evening, October 15, 2015 at Sharon Regional Hospital. Nina was born in Sharon, PA on October 27, 1928, a daughter of Charles and Violet (Rummel) Messina. She was a 1946 graduate of Sharon High School. She loved life and her friends and family. She enjoyed gambling trips, bowling, playing cards, and Mahjong. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Denise and son-in-law Peter Moon; her sister Magaret Kaiser; her brother-in-law Bruce Eakin; her grandchildren, John Bulick and his wife Stephanie (Pearce), Chris Bulick and his wife Heidi (Helmuth), Alisha Davis, and her companion Scott Lundgren; her great-grandchildren, John Bulick and Reanna Bulick; her step grandchildren, Jessica and her husband Adam Hoover, and Peter and his wife Tracey Moon; and her step great-grandchildren, Maisy and Ian. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles S. Davis Sr., whom she married on September 10, 1949 and passed away on April 17, 1995; her son Charles S. Davis Jr., her grandson Joshua Davis; and her brother James Messina. Friends and family may call from 4:00-7:00PM on Sunday, October 18, 2015 and one hour prior to the services on Monday at the funeral home. A celebration of life will be held for Nina on Monday October 19, 2015 at 5:00PM at Lane Family Funeral Homes Madasz Chapel in Brookfield, OH, officiated by Certified Celebrant Randi Pappa. Burial will take place at Brookfield Township Cemetery where she will be laid to rest next to her husband.
