Norman A. Rheuban

Norman A. Rheuban, age 93, died peacefully on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at 9:15 AM at the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home in Paramus, NJ. He was born on February 27, 1921 in Cleveland, Ohio. Norman was married for 62 years to Lillian Kilpatrick Rheuban and resided with her for most of their married life in Austintown and then in Canfield until her death in 2007. Norman was a graduate of Ohio State University and the University of Pennsylvania Law School. He had been retired as an attorney in private practice and later with the firm of Friedman & Rummel in the Youngstown and Canfield Ohio areas. He was honored by the Mahoning County Bar Association for 50 years of meritorious service. Norman served for 20 years in the US Navy during both WWII and the Korean War and had achieved the rank of Lieutenant Commander. Norman leaves his daughter, Joyce Rheuban, son-in-law, Herbert Forsberg, and one grandson Herbert Forsberg all of Ridgewood, NJ, and his daughter, Carol Rheuban of New York City, NY. He also has one brother, Sidney Rheuban in Aurora, Ohio. A funeral service will take place at Lane Family Funeral Homes-Austintown Chapel at 4:00 PM on Saturday, September 27, 2014. Mr. Rheuban will be privately entombed next to his wife in Ressurection Cemetery in Austintown, Ohio.
