Olga Soroka

OLGA SOROKA Olga Soroka of Vienna, Ohio, died at 5:36 PM Monday in St. Joseph Medical Center, Warren, after an extended illness. She was 80. Mrs. Soroka was born in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania on September 18, 1925, a daughter of John and Christine ( ) Basara. She graduated from Vienna High School in 1943 and was a member of St. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Warren, Ohio. Olga was a homemaker. She loved her grandchildren & her family. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking & traveling. Survivors include: husband, Steve Soroka, whom she married September 14, 1947; 2 children, Dennis C. Soroka & his wife Marsha, and Lee Ann Sena & her husband Steve, both of Vienna, Ohio; and four grandchildren: Luke Soroka & his wife Kiley, Justin Soroka, Kristen & Stefanie Sena. She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Charles Zydyk; and sister, Mary Fabry. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday at Madasz Funeral Chapel, Brookfield, with Rev. Edward R. Brienz, Jr., officiating. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4-8 PM and Friday from 10-11 AM. Burial will be in Vienna Township Cemetery, Vienna, Ohio.
