Olive Lucille 'Oddie' (Cameron) Goodhart, age 79, of Fowler Township died Tuesday at 1:30 PM at her home in Fowler. She was born October 14, 1926 in Lock Port, PA the daughter of George W. and Nevada R. (Wompaw) Cameron. Oddie was a Fowler resident for 54 years and was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. She retired in 1986 from Mathews Local School District where she worked in food service for 25 years. Her interests in life were her family, quilting and bowling. She leaves in remembrance of herself, quilts to all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Oddie enjoyed her years of bowling at Cortland Lanes with all her longtime friends. For over 30 years, Olive belonged to a card club and she loved to entertain her close friends. Her husband of 50 years, Lawrence L. Goodhart whom she married November 23, 1946 preceded in death on Nov. 29, 1996. She is survived by two daughters, Kathy L. (Bob) Mizicko of Vienna and Terri R. (Roger) Schick of Fowler; one son, Larry L. Goodhart of Fowler; seven grandchildren, Robb (Jen) Mizicko of Canton; Shane (Maria) Mizicko of Cape Girardeau, MO; Nathan (Shannon) Schick of Niles; Josh Goodhart of Fowler; Sgt. Ian (Michelle) Goodhart of Stafford, VA; Cortney Cameron Schick of Stow and Kaitlyn Goodhart of Fowler; two great grandchildren, Logan Joseph Mizicko and Raegan Marie Schick and one step great grandson, Dawson Goodhart; one sister, LaRue (Ray) Guckenberger of Leechburg, PA; two nieces, Lori (Joe) and daughter Kori and Lisa (Jerry) and son Evan and a nephew, Tim (Kathy) Goodhart and sons, Mark and Andy. Arrangements are being handled by Shafer-Winans Funeral Chapel in Cortland where the family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday and also 1 hour prior to the funeral service at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church at 11:00 AM Friday, June 30, 2006 with Pastor Duane Jesse officiating. Burial will be in Dugan Cemetery in Fowler. Olive's death will leave a void in many hearts, but her family will always have their cherished memories. Material contributions may be made to the Memorial Fund at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Cortland.
