Paddy B. "Pat" Sebring

Paddy B. "Pat" Sebring, 82 of Warren, died Saturday morning, July 11, 2015, at the Trumbull Memorial Hospital emergency room. He was born January 26, 1933 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama the son of the late Jay Kenneth and Bridget Mae O'Regan Sebring. Pat was a 1952 graduate of Springfield, Ohio high school. He served in the Army as a private during the Korean War. He retired in 1992 as the personnel coordinator in the Warren division of Ohio Edison, where he worked for 42 years. Pat was an avid scratch golfer with a 3 handicap and golfed on several area leagues. He was also an avid reader, enjoyed traveling to casinos and loved traveling by train on different rail lines, his favorite being Amtrak's Empire Builder. Pat is survived by his wife of 19 years, Rosemary S. Smith Sebring, whom he married April 20, 1996; his son, Timothy P. (Sarah) Sebring of Troy; three stepdaughters, Denise L. (Todd) Armstrong and Tracey L. Ulrich both of Champion and Jennifer S. (Bill) Thomason of Warren; nine grandchildren, Katie and Tom Sebring, Hillary (Joe) Allen, Heather (Josh) Guthrie, Amanda and Megan Peterson, Keith Ulrich and Amber and Daniel Bellew; one great granddaughter on the way, Kaylee Marie-Ann; one sister, Peggy (Robert) Miller of Orlando and his special buddy, his dachshund, Jake. Several nieces and nephews also survive. One sister, Betty Collins and one brother, William Sebring both preceded him in death. The family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts-Clark Chapel where a memorial service will follow at 7 p.m., with Pastor Steven Brown officiating. Burial will be at Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Welfare League, 812 Youngstown Kingsville Rd. SE, P.O.
