Patricia A Flickinger

Patricia A. Flickinger, 75, 3014 Peavine Trail, Lakeland, FL formerly of Cortland, died 11:35 PM Tuesday June 6, 2006 at the Palm Terrace Nursing Home in Lakeland following a short illness. She was born Dec.24, 1930 in Grand Rapids, MI, the daughter of Elmer and Alma Brenner and was raised by her aunt and uncle in Warren, Eugene and Dorothy Dittman. She came to the Warren area in 1939 from Grand Rapids and moved to Florida in 2005. Pat was a 1949 graduate of Champion High School and a member of the Champion Christian Church where she sang in the choir. A loving homemaker, she also was a member of the Red Hatters and she enjoyed music. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, John R. “Jack” Flickinger whom she married May 12, 1951, a son David Lee Flickinger and wife Julie of Cortland, a daughter Vickie Lynn Kohute and husband Ron of Warren and 5 grandchildren; Mindy, Jennifer, and Lisa Flickinger and Paul and Danny Hufford. She also leaves a sister Joanne Dittman of Warren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her aunt and uncle that raised her, and a son Keith. Services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday June 13, 2006 at Roberts-Clark Chapel where friends will be received from 6:00-8:00 PM Monday. The Rev. Kenneth Hopkins Jr. will officiate. Interment will be in Crown Hill Burial Park.
