Patricia Ann Borecki

McDONALD- Patricia Ann Borecki, 63, passed away after a brief illness on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. She was born in Altoona, PA on February 4, 1952, the only daughter to the late Patrick Eugene and Ioma May (Zimmerman) Halleran. Patty graduated from McDonald High School in 1970 and went on to receive a computer science degree from Youngstown State University. In 1972, Patty moved to Midland, MI, where she raised her 2 daughters. Later she reentered the work force as an administrator for the Midland Court System. In 2002, Patty returned to McDonald to take care of her mother and began working as a floor supervisor for a telecommunication company. Patty will be remembered as a loving mother and nurturing care giver. She enjoyed playing Bingo and had a passion for making people laugh with her great sense of humor. She also loved pets and had a special affection for her cat, Cookie. Patty's home and heart were always open to those who needed it. Left to carry on Patty's memory are her two daughters, Natalie (Joey Hansen) Borecki of Arlington, VA, and Kimberly Ann (Christopher) Borecki-Troiano of Ypsilanti, MI. She also leaves behind Talon Ramsey, who is a part of her family of choice. Final arrangements entrusted to Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel.
